Hypnophobia, Here I Come: Stasis Trailer

|
There's something ominous about children's voices when they aren't yelling. It scares the life out of me, in the right conditions. Like when everything else is silent, and I'm being shown pictures of an abandoned spaceship with flicking lights, and they're talking about death and souls and whatnot. The new teaser for Chris Bischoff's Stasis has all that. It's scary.

"At its core, Stasis is a story about an ordinary man in an extraordinary situation". That's what Chris says. What it's actually about is John Maracheck waking up in abandoned research facility, not knowing where his wife and child are, or what the hell preceded his waking up covered in cryo-liquid. In order to enrich his knowledge on the above-mentioned subjects, he will have to do lots of pointing and clicking in some eerie places. If you're interested in knowing more about the game... well, tough luck. You can check the dev-blog for some insight into the creative process, but that's about it. We'll just have to wait and see. I don't mind waiting. I've had enough of the scary child for now.
